MUSIC

When I attend music concerts I generally draw using ink with a felt-tip pen.

I have grouped these drawings into Classical, Jazz, Flamenco and World music. Some of my drawings have been published by Heraldo de Aragón, the leading local newspaper, to illustrate their musical reviews (see all published).

I digitally modify and print some of my drawings, both figurative and abstract, and then I colour them using watercolour or oil. In connection to this, you can also see the Exhibitions held at the Hillyer Art Space in Washington, at the Faculty of Arts , or at the “Agrupación Artística Aragonesa".

Since the first of October 2010 I created the blog  CHORDON in which I put  drawings or paintings in relation to music.

In 2016, I was a speaker at the “VIII Curso DVCC, Son Dibujo” (DVCC= De Vuelta cCon el Cuaderno”/Back to the Sketch Pad), organized by the School of Art of Zaragoza. It was held at the Balneario de Panticosa and at Sallent de Gállego, from July 16 to 18, with music as its theme.

In 2017 I edited the book "Mis dibujos en conciertos/Drawing live music". The pdf version can be viewed or downloaded HERE. In November of 2017 I was a speaker at the 2nd International Meeting of Travel Notebooks held in Santiago de Compostela to present this book (“2º Encontro Internacional de Cadernos de Viaxe”).
